Whitney Maxwell

Whitney Sue August Maxwell, 56, of Lacey, Washington, passed
away peacefully Friday, June 4, 2004, in her home with her family at her
side following a protracted battle with colon cancer. She was active
with Plymouth Church in Seattle, Puget Sound Network Users Group,
Olympia-Yashiro Sister Cities, Olympia World Affairs Council, Olympia
Japanese Garden, and numerous garden and arborist activities. Whitney
was born Sue Ann Lepinski on June 4, 1948 in Mesa, Arizona. She
graduated from Washington High School in Phoenix in 1966, and married
William R. Maxwell in January of 1969. Her name was legally changed in
1992. She is survived by her husband, William; 2 sons, Nyath and John;
and 4 grandchildren. Services will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home,
5930 Mullen Road, Lacey, on Friday, June 11, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. All are
welcome.
